De Ford Fiesta Sprint Cup is begonnen aan het derde seizoen. Met niet alleen rijders uit de Benelux, maar tevens een aantal Poolse coureurs. Het circuit van Zandvoort is het toneel van de eerste twee races van het seizoen, waar Laurens de Wit in de kwalificatie de snelste was van het stel.
