De Mazda MX-5 Cup reed tijdens de Voorjaarsraces op Zandvoort de eerste drie wedstrijden van het seizoen. Het was net als voorgaande jaren weer ongemeen spannende in de spectaculairste merkencup van de Benelux. Timo de Graaff wist twee races te winnen en Marcel Dekker zegevierde in de derde en afsluitende wedstrijd.
